There are more than ten types of automatic feeders for punching machines, and commonly used models include servo feeders, roller feeders, and pneumatic feeders, which can adapt to the vast majority of feeding requirements. Types of automatic feeders for punching machines:
1. NC servo feeding machine: a feeding machine equipment driven by servo, which solves the problems of short feeding step distance and low feeding accuracy, and can match different models according to different plate thicknesses and widths. It also comes with a control screen, which can achieve multi-stage feeding and adjust the feeding step distance (0-10 meters) arbitrarily. It is a commonly used feeding model.
According to the relaxation method of the rollers on the NC feeder, it can be divided into mechanical relaxation and pneumatic relaxation forms. Mechanical relaxation, like a roller feeder, requires connecting the cam of the power press stamping punch press. Pneumatic relaxation is provided by the cam of the punch to provide signals for relaxation/clamping.
2. Roller feeder: It belongs to mechanical feeding equipment, and its principle is connected to the output shaft of the punching machine through a connecting rod. It is driven by the punching machine to operate, and the feeding length of the feeder is adjusted by adjusting the deflection amplitude of the eccentric disc. Its power source is the back and forth punching stroke of the power press stamping punch press. Due to its mechanical structure, it can fully keep up with the pace of the punching machine, making it suitable for high-speed punching machines. At the same time, it has high feeding accuracy and good stability.
3. The roller feeder is affordable, but due to the limited deflection of the eccentric disc, its feeding length is limited, and the adjustment of the feeding step distance is inconvenient. The power press stamping punch press requires an output shaft for installation.
4. Pneumatic feeding machine: It is an old-fashioned feeding equipment that is powered by a gas source. The material is clamped by a cylinder and fed by the expansion and contraction stroke of the cylinder. At the same time, the feeding length is controlled by adjusting the stroke of the cylinder.
5. Pneumatic feeding machine is a cost-effective feeding equipment, but its O-ring is prone to malfunction and wear, requiring frequent oiling during use and maintenance.
